Hey! I’m Andrew.
Hey there! I’m Andrew Ficke. I have a passion for photography and a heart for people. On any normal day you might find me biking down PCH, going on a road trip, building a computer, going to church, playing guitar, and of course, running around with a camera.
Whether I’m covering a protest for a news article or taking portraits for a wedding, I’m always trying to tell a story. “A picture can say a thousand words” might sound a little cliché, butI suppose still carries a lot of truth. There’s always another angle, another perspective, another story that can be told when capturing an image. I love being able to tell that story, and using photography to share how I see the world with other people.
Meeting new people and building relationships has to be the reason why I love photography. While I could take pictures all day, it’s the places I go and the people I meet that make my job so enjoyable. Everyone has a different life and a different story to tell. I’m blessed that I get to have a job that lets me travel around to meet new people, and learn about their unique lives and stories they have to tell.
